Our hotel
La Couronne is a 3 star hotel, with 43 rooms, located in a historic building in the centre of Morges. Its classic architecture, modern comforts and devoted staff assure you a pleasant stay. We are also proud to offer you a daily complimentary breakfast.
The hotel is located on the Grand-Rue of Morges, the pedestrian street of the historic old town where you can dine, and browse the bi-weekly market. A short three minute walk will take you to the shore of the Lac Léman where a panoramic view of the Alps awaits. Whether you prefer to stroll the boardwalk, hop on a boat, or enjoy a drink in the sun, the lakefront is sure to please.
We are also located near the train station (5-minute walk). Our convenient location allows you to catch your plane at Geneva airport, attend a concert in Lausanne, or get to your hike in the vines with ease.

Our Story
Constructed in the 16th century, the hotel’s building has a long history of hospitality. It served as an inn since 1574, welcoming travelers from the region and afar. It was officially named Hotel de la Couronne in 1851. Guests can appreciate the hotel’s classic architecture from the exterior and interior alike. The wooden ceilings in our breakfast room and the stone arches of our cave will transport you back in time!

As a family business since 2022, we believe in embracing tradition and history but also keeping up with modern trends and designs. The hotel has already undergone several renovations and we plan to continue to beautify and improve La Couronne to ensure our guests a pleasant night’s stay.
